NO REFUND POLICY FOR VOLLEYBALL REPRESENTATIVE TEAM FEES
1. Purpose of the Policy
This No Refund Policy is established to clearly define the terms and conditions related to financial commitments made by players trialing and accepting a position in the Endeavour Volleyball Club SVL representative team/s. The policy ensures transparency and understanding of the financial obligations and implications of withdrawing after accepting in writing the written offer made to the player and the payment by the player of the deposit and the receipt of the deposit by Endeavour Volleyball Club.
2. Policy Statement
Once an offer for a position in the volleyball representative team is extended to a player in writing, and the player has accepted this offer in writing, the player is required to pay a deposit to secure their place in the Team.
Please note the following critical aspects of this policy:
- Non-Refundable Deposit: The deposit paid by the player to secure their place in the Team is non-refundable under any circumstances.
- Written Acceptance or Acceptance by Conduct: An offer is considered accepted either when the player provides a written acceptance of the offer OR if the player begins training with the Squad and attends and participates in any Round Match of a State Cup or SVL Tournament Round Robin Match. The conduct of the player in participating in activities of the Club constitutes acceptance of the terms of the offer by the Player.
- Balance Payment: The balance of the Team fee, due at a later specified date, is also subject to the terms of this No Refund Policy and is to be paid by the player.
- No Refunds on Withdrawal: In the event of a player’s subsequent withdrawal from the Team, for any reason, there will be no refund of either the deposit or any other payments that are due to be payable towards the Team fees.
- Outstanding Fees owed to the Club: The Player acknowledges that the balance of the Team Fee to be paid by the player that is set out in the “Offer” to the player to join the Team after the player has accepted their offer in writing and the player has paid the ‘deposit’ is an “[Outstanding Fee owed to Endeavour Volleyball Club]”.
3. Acknowledgment of Policy
By accepting the offer and paying the deposit, the player acknowledges and agrees to this No Refund Policy. This acknowledgment is a binding agreement that the deposit and the Outstanding Fee owed to Endeavour Volleyball Club are non-refundable.
4. Exceptions
This policy is absolute, and no exceptions will be made. Players are advised to consider their commitment carefully before accepting the offer and paying the deposit.
5. Acknowledgement there will no Movement of the players between Clubs, Associations and teams while there are “outstanding fees owed to Endeavour Volleyball Club”.
The player acknowledges that the Sydney Volleyball League 2024 Regulations apply to the SVL 2025 until the 2025 Rules an Regulations are published and acknowledge and agree that the following clauses apply in respect of any outstanding fees owe to Endeavour Volleyball Club being:
- Any athlete registered with a Club must obtain VNSW’s written approval before the athlete may compete for a different Club;
- VNSW may refuse its written consent to a transfer if the relevant athlete is financially indebted to the Club, VNSW or any VA affiliate.
- If a current or past athlete player is unfinancial with a Club, it is the responsibility of the Club President or Treasurer to notify the athlete and VNSW of this status. The individual player membership will then be placed under review, and that member will be ineligible to compete in any VNSW competition until resolved.
- Players cannot transfer between clubs if they are unfinancial with VNSW, VA or any other recognised volleyball affiliate in Australia.
